Osamu Utsunomiya
Currently Managing Director at Reimei Global Advisors. Previously worked at GE Capital and Credit Suisse First Boston before joining Shinsei Bank in 2003. At Shinsei, handled numerous transactions, including strategic acquisitions of non-bank and banking institutions, and led the acquisition and LBO finance team as Head of Specialty Finance (2005-2011). Graduated from University of Virgina (Finance and International Business).

Currently Vice Chairman and Managing Director at J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC. Served as Vice Chairman (2003–2005) and President and CEO (2005–2008) of Shinsei Bank. From 1995 to 2003, held positions as President, Branch Manager, and Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Japan. Graduated from Harvard Univ. with a B.A. in Economics (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) / MBA from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar).

Sang-Ho Sohn
Currently CEO at Reimei Global Advisors. Spent 12 years at Yasuda Trust & Banking in Tokyo, NY, and Seoul, followed by 4 years at the Asia Principal Transactions Group of Lehman Brothers, where he led numerous investment projects across Asia, primarily in Korea. Subsequently served as Senior Managing Executive Officer and Head of the Institutional Banking Division at Shinsei Bank.
Graduated from Beloit College in Wisconsin (Economics).

David Brunner
David James Brunner, PhD, is an AI strategist and technologist focused on the deployment of agentic, context-aware systems within global enterprises. Trained as a computer scientist at Stanford and Harvard, his expertise lies at the intersection of AI theory and its organizational application. As the founder and longtime CEO of ModuleQ, he led the development of a neurosymbolic insight platform adopted by Tier-1 financial institutions and commercialized through a strategic partnership with LSEG. An inventor with multiple patents in machine learning and data fusion, he bridges technical depth in knowledge graphs and LLMs with a focus on governance, risk, and ROI. Dr. Brunner currently serves as an AI advisor to a global portfolio of over a dozen startups and enterprises across Asia, North America, and Europe, spanning the banking, insurance, and fintech sectors.
IT Development Advisor
Yuichiro Izumi
Yuichiro Izumi is a development advisor with deep expertise in both advanced software development and product management, spanning enterprise business systems to the SaaS domain. After working on enterprise system development at Works Applications, he joined freee K.K., where he spent a decade leading SaaS development. As Managing Executive Officer, he served as the head of the development division, gaining broad experience ranging from hands-on engineering to managing large-scale development organizations.
Going beyond pure engineering, Izumi has leveraged his strength in product management to build organizations that combine technical excellence with a business leadership perspective, and has a proven track record of taking products from zero to launch.
In 2025, he founded a new AI-driven software development company with a mission to advance society through the disruptive innovation of large language models.

Karsten Klein
Karsten Klein is the founder of a Tokyo-based consultancy specializing in AI governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy. Before founding the firm, he worked across engineering, deep science, and financial services, where his experience covered both financial risk and the design, implementation, and operation of systems. This background informs his current consulting work. He works with organizations ranging from start-ups to large enterprises across multiple sectors. Karsten holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
